Suu Balm™ was developed by Dr. Tey Hong Liang, the director of the Itch Clinic at Singapore’s National Skin Centre, a regional centre for research in skin disorders. Dr. Tey Hong Liang wanted to create a cure for itchiness after realising that conventional moisturisers and ointments were not effectively curing his patients’ itchy dry skin. During his research, he blended menthol’s inherent itch-relieving and soothing properties with a large dosage of a ceramide-based moisturiser that helps preserve the skin’s natural defence.
