Diptyque introduces its largest boutique in Malaysia, a stunning 68-square-meter space in Kuala Lumpur’s Mid Valley Megamall. This latest addition, which opened on 6 September, celebrates the Maison’s artistry and ingenuity, channeling the spirit of its iconic Parisian boutique at 34 boulevard Saint-Germain. The space masterfully blends Diptyque’s heritage with the vibrant culture of its host city, creating an enchanting haven where creativity and wanderlust take center stage, all reflected in its captivating interiors and design inspiration.

Inside Diptyque’s Mid Valley Boutique

Stepping past the boutique’s signature green facade, crowned by the Diptyque logo and a bespoke mosaic by Decomosa studio, visitors enter a world that feels like a story waiting to unfold. Every detail, from the colourful furniture and wooden floors to the striking mural and intricate wallpaper, evokes a sense of sophistication. This immersive space mirrors the charm of a collector’s home, where carefully chosen objects inspire curiosity and discovery.

Inside, the boutique pairs Parisian elegance with local design influences across three thoughtfully designed rooms. Haussmann-style moldings, a classic fireplace, and sculpted friezes complement wooden furniture, while a peach lacquered table inspired by Perriand takes center stage, displaying Diptyque’s iconic fragrances. Nearby, a golden-hued wall light illuminates the Art of Body Care range, set above a wooden basin. Harris Rashid’s intricate ylang-ylang flower illustration decorates a long counter showcasing perfumes, while an oak bookcase frames the herbarium and candle collection, adding a warm and inviting touch.

At the rear, hibiscus-carved arches by artist Zarir Abdullah lead to a lounge area and gifting section. The lounge, adorned with vibrant wallpaper and rich woodwork, feels like a hidden retreat. Beyond, wooden shelves display more of the boutique’s treasures, from scented candles in floral and woody tones to skincare and decor pieces.
