Tbh, no one saw this coming and just like you, we too were left shocked but curious and can’t help but control the urge to get our hands behind the Malaysian beauty brand’s durian makeup collection. And so we did! Yes, few of us from Beauty Insider Malaysia got every single product from the coveted Elianto’s durian makeup collection and below is our take on the highly raved collection. Let us first tell you, the collection totally woke our senses up and certainly did not shy away from embracing the naturally pungent smell of durian which we aren’t complaining about! Oh, did we also mention Elianto’s durian makeup collection is actually the first of its kind in the world!

1. Durian Musang King Lip Care SPF18

The lip balm comes in two shades of Pinkish and Yellow (we got the yellow one) which instantly reminded us of the flesh of durian. Both lip balms are infused with durian scent but in a very subtle way! Packed with a combination of natural ingredients like cocoa butter, Vitamin E and olive oil this lip balm is super hydrating on the lips. It also comes with SPF18 means it can protect your lips from the harmful UV rays and other external aggressions. Overall, this one is a win as we can’t stop licking our lips cuz the durian taste is too goooood!

2. Durian Musang King Lip Colour

This lip colour it one for the bold hearts! It has a bright yellow finish which pretty much suits all skin tone. It is a shade that will get all heads turning but we aren’t really sure about the usability of it because this is not one of that basic everyday lipstick (though you can make it as one) As for its texture, the lip colour is very velvety and smooth. It delivers a burst of creamy thick pigmentation and gives a stunning matte finish. It also stays put long and can withstand all those eatings and drinkings. It lasted on our lips for close to 8 hours!

4. Durian Musang King Highlighter

The Elianto Durian Musang King Highlighter is our favourite in the whole collection! It does everything right. It can instantly light up your face with a dewy glow courtesy of the yellow tinted powder. Whether you’re aiming for a basic everyday beauty or a glamorous night out look this highlighter is one that can total elevate your look. This highlighter is also perfect and ideal for makeup beginners as the box itself has instructions on how to use the products. You can use this highlighter on your cheek to give it a more defined look or you can also use it to contour your face. The shimmery yellow shade is suitable for all skin tones and can illuminate your face for a naturally radiant look.

4. Durian Musang King Eyeshadows

The Elianto’s Durian Musang King eyeshadows are available in two different shades, one is a matte subtle brown and another is a pale glitter yellow. Both shades are highly charged with pigments and have an ultra-soft formula with a texture that is silky to the touch. The eyeshadows are also formulated to removes access oil formation on the eyelids hence it gives an amazing matte finish. You can wear it alone or you can also create multiple eyes looks by mixing to create your ideal eye look with these long-lasting eyeshadows. In our opinion, these shades are suitable for the day makeup and glam makeup.

YES, totally! If you are a fan of the king of fruits then you must add these products to your makeup kit! If you are makeup junkie, these products are worth the try and not just are the fun but super effective. Plus, they are also not so expensive so it is worth the investment. It is also a great gift to give your durian and makeup enthusiast friends. The collection also includes a body mist, the Elianto Durio Bloom EDP fragrance. We did not get the mist but according to Elianto expert, the mist has a refreshing yet woody scent. Durian, of course!!!
