Established in 2012, Cheong Plastic Surgery Clinic (Klinik Pakar Surgeri Plastik Cheong) has grown to become one of the best-known plastic surgery clinics in Kuala Lumpur and Klang Valley, located in the centre of Cheras District in Kuala Lumpur. He underwent training in General Surgery at the University Malaya Medical Centre and continued to train in Plastic Surgery. He then later went to the prestigious Chang Gung Memorial Hospital in Taipei and Taiwan to then complete the Fellowship in Craniofacial Surgery. Dr Cheong was also a guest visitor in several renowned cosmetic surgery centres in Seoul, South Korea. Dr Cheong You Wei is a qualified plastic surgeon registered in the National Specialist Register of Malaysia under the Ministry of Health of Malaysia, is a board-certified plastic surgeon, and a member of the Malaysian Association of Plastic, Aesthetic and Craniofacial Surgeons (MAPACS) and Malaysian Society of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery (MSPRS). Earlier on, he was a senior lecturer at the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, University Putra Malaysia, and published many research papers.
