Celebrated Brands, Lasting Impressions

The Fragrance Experience Day turned the airy SOMEWHERE at ELSE Hotel into a multi-sensory space. Guests moved in small groups through a curated fragrance journey, with each brand presenting its own storytelling station. From the scents’ origins to their key notes and creative inspirations, visitors enjoyed an intimate encounter with both the scents and the stories that shaped them.
The line-up featured BORNTOSTANDOUT, Floraïku Paris, MEMO Paris, Maison Crivelli, and BDK Parfums. Each brand shared its fragrance story and unveiled new launches through interactive displays and personal touchpoints that engaged guests and left a lasting impression.
Immersive Scent Discovery

Five distinct brand stations each offer a tailored, immersive experience, where visitors are guided by brand representatives through interactive storytelling that brings the identity and values of each brand to life.
There were five checkpoints, one dedicated to each brand:
1st checkpoint: BORNTOSTANDOUT

BORNTOSTANDOUT is a Seoul-based niche perfume brand founded by Jun Lim in 2020 and officially launched in 2022, bringing a rebellious spirit that encourages individuality and self-expression.
Drawing inspiration from Korean heritage, its bold red-and-white Joseon Dynasty porcelain–inspired design pairs with daring fragrance names and distinctive scents that appeal to those seeking something truly different.
2nd checkpoint: Floraïku Paris

Floraïku Paris blends a deep admiration for Asian culture and its rituals with the olfactory expertise of French perfumery, resulting in fragrances that are both refined and evocative.
Each perfume takes its name from a haiku, celebrating fleeting moments of beauty such as a sunrise, the arrival of spring, or a budding love. The collections take inspiration from nature’s beauty and the rituals it inspires, drawing on Asian traditions of tea, incense, and flowers.
3rd checkpoint: MEMO Paris

Memo Paris views fragrances as travel notes, capturing memories of journeys to unique destinations and rare ingredients that can be experienced anew with every wear.
Each scent becomes a story on the skin, reawakening the beauty of places, moments, and sensations while together forming an evocative olfactory map of the world.
4th checkpoint: Maison Crivelli

Maison Crivelli, founded by Thibaud Crivelli, was born from the belief that beauty lies in the unexpected, with each fragrance inspired by his ultra-sensorial encounters with raw materials.
Created in collaboration with master perfumers through a process that can take months or even years, the collection stands out for its contrasts, originality, and modernity.
5th checkpoint: BDK Parfums

BDK Parfums is an independent fragrance house from France, renowned for unique, high-quality scents inspired by characters, movements, and fleeting moments.
Each creation combines storytelling and craftsmanship, balancing reality with fantasy to deliver exceptional fragrances without following a predefined formula.
The experience invited guests to explore the artistry of niche perfumery in a way that felt personal, engaging and educational.

Adding to the occasion, David Benedek, founder of BDK Parfums, made a special appearance, giving attendees a rare opportunity to speak directly with the perfumer behind one of the featured brands.
