Youtuber Hyram Launches Skincare Line to Spark Social Change

If you’ve been on the skincare side of Youtube, you may have stumbled upon Hyram. If you have, you’re probably guilty of binge watching his videos (so are we!). We love watching his videos and learning new facts on skincare and ingredients that are good for our skin. In creating the brand, the three founders (Mark, Colette, and Hyram) wanted to bring the beauty industry and social change together. The goal with Selfless by Hyram is to provide help to others with high quality skincare, incredible formulations, and the opportunity to empower themselves and everyone impacted by the biggest social issues in the world. The skincare brand looks to change the world through good and high quality skincare.

They picked up the huge challenge to build a beauty brand that put social impact at a high regard beginning from where and how ingredients are purchased all the way to forming the structure of their commercial model. They want to give back to charity in the right and meaningful way while allowing consumers to make selfless choices easily.

Social Impact

The main goal of the brand is social impact. They wish to make a huge impact on the social issues that we, as a society face, as well as the planet. Using skincare as a vehicle for change, they are grateful to be able to work towards making an impact on society by doing what they love most; skincare.

Their focus areas include the environment, health, education, and empowerment. They work with their partners such as Rainforest Trust to target issues starting with the climate and water crises.

It’s no secret that Hyram loves Centella and Green Tea out of all the skincare ingredients out there. Therefore, it’s comes to no surprise that his first product mashes these two amazing ingredients together to create one gentle cleanser that is perfect for all skin types, especially sensitive skin!

Besides Green Tea and Centella, this face wash contains the hydrating Glycerin, combined together in a pH balanced formula. The processes involved in creating this product utilises methods that are eco friendly where 100% renewable energy is used. On top of that, everything used is made sure to be recycled.

Retinol & Rainbow Algae Repair Serum

The Retinol & Rainbow Algae Repair Serum is made to gently repair acne scars and hyper pigmentation. It contains 0.2% Retinol that gently helps to smooth and create an even skin tone. The Rainbow Algae, the chameleon of the sea, equipped into this repairing serum assists the Retinol ingredient to reduce hyper pigmentation and create a smooth and even appearance of the skin’s tone. The serum also contains Squalane, Microalgae and Tranexamic acid that will hydrate and brighten the skin while reducing dark spots.
