The Naturals

The orange blossom absolute and Damask rose are both sourced as part of a program to develop a fair-trade partnership between Firmenich, a privately-owned perfume and taste company, and growers, with the aim of improving working conditions during the harvest. The cedarwood however, is recovered from North American wood pulp through one of the most sustainable supply chains for aromatic woods.

The Synthetics

Firbest Lilac contributes to the reconstitution of the scent of lilac, which is impossible to obtain naturally using traditional methods. Whereas RC vanillin, richer and more complex than regular vanillin, is obtained using 100% renewable carbon methods (plastic recycling is one of the three sources of renewable carbon). The advanced Ambrox®Super is a note close to ambergris, obtained through biotechnology.

The Scent

The Packaging

A Drop d’Issey is inspired by a drop in the image of a bubble; curved lenses, like a magnifying glass, an optical illusion. The clear, limpid bottle is made with just enough glass (no wastage), including 5% post-consumer recycled glass, while the cardboard box packaging is made using materials from sustainably-managed forests.
