Dr.Jart+ Pore Remedy range harnesses the power of Poly Hydroxy Acid (PHA) to improve the overall skin conditions. This gentle exfoliant is known for its ability to remove dead skin cells and smooth out uneven skin texture, revealing a healthy-looking complexion. As the name suggests, this range was specifically formulated to decongest and minimise the appearance of pores. Therefore it is ideal if you suffer from enlarged pores, bumpy skin and even blackheads. 

Dr.Jart+ Pore Remedy PHA Exfoliating Serum 

Dr.Jart+ Pore Remedy PHA Exfoliating Serum has a non-sticky watery texture that easily absorbs into the skin. This bi-phase serum features a cocktail of PHA, panthenol, glycoprotein and macadamia seed oil as its ingredients. With 7% of PHA, it gently sloughs off dead skin cells without causing any irritation or discomfort. Glycoprotein is added to the formulation as it works wonders to decrease sebum level, whereas panthenol helps to retain the moisture level, fortifying the skin’s protective barrier layers. Thanks to the macadamia seed oil which features similar properties to natural sebum. Hence it can penetrate deep without leaving any greasy veil.

Dr.Jart+ Pore Remedy Dermask™ Pore Remedy™ Purifying Mud Mask is powered by a blend of PHA, green mud and sea salt. These ingredients work collectively to ward off congested pores and rough skin texture, resulting in a brighter and clearer complexion. It delivers a mega dose of purifying properties that can deeply cleanse the pores and eliminate bacteria that cause acne. Unlike other facial masks, the Dermask™ Pore Remedy™ Purifying Mud Mask comes with two pieces for the upper and lower section of the facial feature. 

Review on Dr.Jart+ PHA Exfoliating Serum And Dermask™ Pore Remedy™ Purifying Mud Mask

Honestly, I’ve tried other Dr.Jart+ products before, particularly its cicapair range. So I do have high expectations for these latest launches. The moment I unboxed the duo, Dr.Jart+  Pore Remedy PHA Exfoliating Serum And Dermask™ Pore Remedy™ Purifying Mud Mask, their packaging definitely captured my attention. After I cleaned my face and prepped it with my regular toner, I proceeded to pump about two drops before applying it all over my face. I was pleasantly surprised as this serum has a watery texture that instantly absorbs into the skin. 

Since I have acne bumps, I was quite afraid that it would leave a greasy residue on my face but luckily it didn’t. One of the things I noticed is that the Dr.Jart+ PHA Exfoliating Serum has a refreshing minty scent, which I found calming. Then, I finished off my routine with a facial moisturiser and sunscreen. On the first day of using the Dr.Jart+ Pore Remedy PHA Exfoliating Serum, I noticed that acne bumps didn’t appear as much as they used to. So, it was certainly a good sign. 

For my nighttime skincare routine, I decided to treat my skin with the Dr.Jart+ Dermask™ Pore remedy™ Purifying Mud Mask. As a facial mask lover, I have heard tons of great reviews on this product. The Dermask™ Pore remedy™ Purifying Mud Mask comes with two separate sheets, which allow me to perfectly place it based on my facial features. I’m spilling some tea here, I have a large forehead so finding the right facial mask that can cover all of the areas is a dream come true. Plus, the design also allows me to place it on problematic areas, particularly the side of the nose. 

This ultra-lightweight sheet mask is sandwiched between two white films to retain its efficacy and product. Thus, it provides some sort of peace of mind knowing that its remnants are not wasted on the packaging, which often occurs with regular facial masks. The moment I applied it to my face, I was mesmerised by the cooling sensations. Since the Dr.Jart+ Dermask™ Pore remedy™ Purifying Mud Mask is highly adhesive and it stays well on my face without falling off, I decided to do some chores while waiting for the mask to work its magic. After about 20 minutes, I peeled off the mask and rinsed my face with warm water. I was so amazed as my skin looked brighter and clearer after just one use.

Needless to say, I continued incorporating these duo from Dr.Jart+ Pore Remedy range into my daily skincare routine for a few weeks to monitor its effectiveness. Honestly, I am glad that I did as my skin has shown improvements in terms of radiance and texture. Aside from smoother skin, I also noticed that  Dr.Jart+ Pore Remedy PHA Exfoliating Serum and Dermask™ Pore remedy™ Purifying Mud Mask help to banish the visibility of pores.

In fact, blemishes including blackheads and whiteheads are almost non-existent. Although some people are quite sceptical of using exfoliant on a daily basis, trust me the Dr.Jart+ Pore Remedy is super gentle to the skin and it does not cause any bit of irritation or strip the skin of its natural oils. One pro tip before using the Dr.Jart+ Pore Remedy PHA Exfoliating Serum is to make sure that you shake the bottle well to ensure that the water and oil composition mixes well. After applying both Dr.Jart+ Pore Remedy PHA Exfoliating Serum and Dermask™ Pore remedy™ Purifying Mud Mask, you can finish it off with the Dr.Jart+ Cicapair Tiger Grass Calming Gel Cream.
