Hair Growth

Your hair is actually made out of a long chain of proteins. These proteins can be found throughout your body too. Keratin is the protein that makes up almost all of your hair. So, it has the ability to help stimulate hair growth on a cellular level. On average, hair follicles that are healthy can grow about half an inch every month. But, as you age or suffer from any health conditions, your hair may become weaker. To help your hair grow, the blood in your scalp travels to the follicles. This travel allows the blood to supply nutrients and oxygen to the roots of your hair.
