Means unlike the traditional permanent eyebrow tattoo that fades into a bluish-green colour over time, the semi-permanent method that works delicately on super-fine hair to make your eyebrows look natural and realistic. It is technically still a form of tattooing, but the process involves implanting your brows natural pigment beneath the surface of the skin to make it look like hair strokes. So, it will make your brows look thicker, fuller and bolder. The process makes sure of your existing hairs not shaving everything completely off!

Is Eyebrow Embroidery Painful?
Anyone (men and women) can go in for an eyebrow embroidery! It is the safest and most long-lasting way to keep your eyebrows on fleek. If you are wondering, would the process be painful? Well, before the embroidery process begins, the artist will put numbing cream all over your eyebrows to minimize the pain and most people have agreed threading is more painful compared to embroidery.
You will feel the tweezing a bit but it’s bearable and if it gets more painful just ask your artist to apply more numbing cream. It is common to bleed a little during eyebrow embroidery because microneedles are penetrating into your skin to embed the pigment. So, don’t worry, just like tattooing it is normal to bleed during the process. Don’t freak out and just keep yourself calm through the process. Listen to some music and just chill while the artists do their job.
How Long Does It Last?
The whole process of embroidering would take up to 2-3 hours and generally, it can last up to 2 years with proper care and regular appointments back to the salon to keep things looking fresh and crisp. If the colour starts to fade, you can always go in for touch-ups but there no way to completely remove it all off. So, if you are not ready to commit to a particular eyebrow look for at least 2 years then it is better to not get this done. Also, since it is sort of permanent we advised you to do lots of research online and gather all the design that fascinates you. Show it to your artist and ask if something similar can be done for you. Do not leave the salon before getting your dream brows! You being completely satisfied and happy with the result is the most important thing of em all.
Are They Any Risks Involved in Eyebrow Embroidery?
Just as a reminder , any form of tattooing, there are certain risks associated with eyebrow embroidery. To minimize the risks, make sure to maintain a proper hygiene and do not touch your freshly done brows! Since, it is quite a long process so make sure to go to the appointment with a full stomach, well-rested and hydrated and most importantly, not intoxicated! Be sure to follow all the pre- and post care instructions and if you have an allergic make sure to inform the artist prior to the treatment!
In order to get the best results, the artist will need to work with your skin in its natural state so avoid wearing thick makeup. Go in with a clean and fresh face. Avoid wearing any makeup over the newly done brows for a couple of days to give it some time to heal. Also, if you are on any blood-thinning medications or suffer blood loss diseases like anaemia or diabetes or if you’re pregnant, then it is better to avoid the procedure! . In order to get the best results, the artist will need to work with your skin in as natural a state as possible. Avoid extreme sun exposure prior to your appointment as your artist will need to work with your skin in its most natural state.
