Chanel’s Makeup Line for Men – Boy de Chanel

Chanel launched a makeup line for men named Boy de Chanel. The line currently consists of 3 basic makeup products for men in midnight blue packaging:

1. A foundation – Boy de Chanel Foundation Subtle and Longwear Complexion Enhancer
2. An eye brow pencil – Boy de Chanel Eyebrow Pencil Waterproof and Longwear Eyebrow Pencil
3. A lip balm – Boy de Chanel Lip Balm Moisturising Matte Lip Balm

Boy de Chanel line-up

Designed for men, the products are simple to use and subtle in appearance, to enhance the features of the face.  They are the very basic of makeup and relatively subtle that is not obvious of makeup wear.

The Boy de Chanel Foundation enhances and evens out skin tone. For men who are hesitant with makeup, including foundation, the foundation does act as a concealer for skin discolouration areas.

Eyebrows are a prominent feature especially for men. They are given special attention by Chanel with the Boy de Chanel Eye Brow Pencil. It is designed for convenience for men: eyebrow pencil on one end to darken brows with a choice of 3 grey shades and an eyebrow brush on the other end to shape brows.

The Boy de Chanel lip balm is more like skincare than makeup. It is colourless but does have a matte finish.
