1. Then I Met You

K-beauty fans are in for a treat this year! Then I Met You, a brainchild of Charlotte Cho who co-founded Soko Glam, will be hitting the shelves in Sephora Malaysia this April. This award-winning skincare brand, launched in 2018, is highly beloved by the beauty community for its products crafted with inspiration from ‘jeong’.

Cho also teased a new product that has not been revealed yet, called Bong Bong Bounce Cream, which features a heavenly scent of hallabong and is designed to support barrier cream while boasting a lightweight texture. During the session, she also discussed achieving ‘honey skin,’ a Korean phrase indicating a shiny, poreless complexion. Then I Met You will be launching in Sephora Malaysia in April of this year.

2. Esmi Skin

Esmi Skin, originating from Australia, was founded by Evette McEwan. The brand is renowned for its high-performance extensive range of products, which include skincare, haircare, and SkinTrients. During the sharing session, we asked McEwan about the hero product from the range, and she recommended the Esmi Skin Hyaluronic Hydrating Serum. While the captivating colours of the skincare products might seem like an aesthetic choice, they are actually coordinated based on skin concerns. Its products will be available in Sephora Malaysia in April.

3. Krave Beauty

What’s K-beauty without Krave Beauty? Founded by popular YouTuber Liah Yoo, it offers a no-nonsense formula that breaks away from the traditional cookie-cutter approach to skincare. Featuring core and supplement series as its product philosophy, Krave Beauty’s hero products include Great Barrier Relief and Matcha Hemp Hydrating Cleanser. According to Andy Chiu, the General Manager at KraveBeauty, the cleanser, which will be launching in Sephora Malaysia in April, has been reformulated to suit the Southeast Asia market.

We’ve got a secret to spill: the brand will soon make its mark by releasing a skincare and makeup hybrid, Plumptuous Lip Jelly, which will be available in a refillable case and feature other amazing innovations you’ve never seen before. It is expected that the product will likely be launched between August and October this year. This means that in Malaysia, it will be available later after these months.

4. The Powder Shampoo

The Powder Shampoo, a Singaporean brand founded by Lynn Tan, takes a sustainable approach to haircare and body care routines. Its extensive range of products is revolutionary, crafted with a powder-to-foam formula, while also boasting refillable, plastic-free, water-free, and recyclable packaging. Their latest product is the newly released Hydrating & Replenishing Powder Shampoo for Dry & Fragile Hair. Additionally, the brand will also be launching products that cater to pets as well.

At the House of Sephora Malaysia in 2024, we also had the opportunity to try out several products from Kylie Cosmetics. It was a dream come true! With a variety of lip and makeup products that have made Jenner a household name, you can look forward to impeccable formulas that surpass expectations. The products we managed to peek at included the Velvet Lip Kit, Matte Lip Kit, High Gloss, Plumping Gloss, and Kylash Volume Mascara.
