Uh oh! Gwyneth Paltrow finally opens up about how she really feels about the whole Goop Vs. Poosh fans narrative. In case you missed it, the 49-years-old actress started a lifestyle brand, slash an online magazine where she shares her beauty and wellness journey back in 2008. Years later, Kourtney Kardashian launched a very similar site called Poosh (named after her daughter, Penelope). Fans then started to point out the similarities between the two and started to assume that the famous Kardashian Klan for copying Gwyneth Paltrow.

But how similar are they really? Hmm, join Beauty Insider to dig in deeper in the 411.

For almost 5 years the two notable entrepreneurs have been very quiet regarding the matter. Until last Saturday, May 21. While answering fans’ questions on GOOP‘s official Instagram, a fan took the opportunity to ask the question. Instead of seeming irritated, Gwyneth responded in an unexpected, and motivating manner.

“This concept that women need to compete is heritage patriarchy nonsense; there is opportunity for every woman to achieve her aspirations,” the Iron Man star says. “I used to be a victim of this sort of thinking years ago, so I know where it comes from.” She added, ”I am now overjoyed when I see new health enterprises.”

“There is a space for all of us, and Kourtney is a truly kind person,” she continued, before adding one more incredible comment. Gwyneth commented, “#KRAVISFOREVER,” referring to Kourtney’s romance with Blink-182 musician Travis Barker. The cute pair is presently in Italy, where they married in front of family and friends in Portofino.

When Kourtney established Poosh in 2018, it was met with active-criticism since the name was similar to GOOP, and both businesses promote fairly pricey items typically supported by pseudo-science. GOOP, on the other hand, had a nearly decade head start on POOSH, therefore it was inevitable that Kourtney’s business strategy would be contrasted and ridiculed in comparison.

Kourtney’s husband, Travis Barker, displayed his own support for the GOOP brand during a recent video tour of his Calabasas home for Architectural Digest, proving that there is no discord between Gwyneth and Kourtney. GOOP’s famed “This Smells Like My Orgasm” candle looked to be resting on the side table when followers were given an inside glimpse into his bedroom. The label, however, stated, “This Smells Like Kourtney’s Orgasm,” a clear reference and compliment to the original!

Weird, but okay. Cheers to these two influential women!
